Some of the third-party service providers we use (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, or software platforms) may store or process personal information on servers located outside Australia, including in jurisdictions such as the United States or countries within the European Union, depending on the provider. Where we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles that information in a manner consistent with the APPs, including by relying on the service provider's own compliance with recognised privacy and data protection frameworks, to the extent permitted under the Privacy Act. If you have questions about a specific overseas disclosure, please contact us using the details in clause 12.

7. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and support functions such as shopping cart and checkout. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar services) to collect aggregated, deidentified information about Site usage, and advertising or remarketing tools to display relevant advertising to you on other websites, based on your browsing activity on our Site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site, including your ability to complete a purchase.

8. Direct Marketing

We may send you direct marketing communications about our Products, Services, promotions and offers by email or SMS, where you have consented to receive them, or where we are otherwise permitted to do so under the Privacy Act and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). While we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to us, and any transmission is at your own risk. Where we no longer require personal information for any purpose for which it may be used or disclosed under the APPs, and we are not required by law to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or deidentify that information.

We will respond to a request for access or correction within a reasonable time, generally within thirty (30) days. We may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of retrieving and providing access to information, but will not charge a fee for making a request or for correcting information. We may decline a request for access or correction in certain circumstances permitted under the Privacy Act (for example, where the request is frivolous, or granting access would unreasonably impact the privacy of others), in which case we will provide reasons for our decision, to the extent required by law.
